Consultations

At the moment I am able to offer home visits in the Brecon and Abergavenny areas of South Wales. A home visit has the advantage of seeing the animal in his / her normal environment and allowing observation of their normal behaviour and character. I hope in the future, however, to have a base in one of these areas from which to work and perform consultations. Alternatively, I should be able to see homeopathic cases in Swansea at the Tawe Veterinary Practice by prior arrangement.

The first consultation normally takes approximately one hour as it is essential to gather as much detailed information as possible about the animal including such things as character, personality, likes, dislikes, factors which make him better or worse, eating habits, fears, possible contributing factors etc. It is a very different type of consultation to a conventional one and many of the details may seem trivial and irrelevant but can be crucial in individualising the animal and the remedy needed.

If an animal is receiving treatment for any condition from another vet it will be necessary to contact the vet concerned to obtain a case history before the consultation and the vet will be kept informed of the treatment and progress of the case.
